Employments and work
2001-2016 translation work
Since 2001 and to the present date I am employed at the consulting firm Explicator AB, based in Stockholm. Since 2006 I mainly take on translation projects, but I also have written popular articles, mostly about architecture, archaeology, etc.
I work today as a full time translator, translating mainly for the London-based agencies Lingo 24 (varied texts, predominantly medical and technical), Transperfect (patents, legal documents), iSP – Transperfect’s Netherlands branch, (technical), the Swedish/Danish company Lingtech (patents, mainly mechanical), the Swedish agencies Aardvark (travel) and STAR Translitera (varied).
A large translation project 2006-2008 for Uppsala Patentbyrå (Patent Attorneys in Uppsala, Sweden) resulted in fulltime work as translator in various technical, medical and pharmaceutical fields for two years.
From june 2009 to present date I have periodically worked the translation company STAR Translitera in Uppsala, translating a variety of documents in the technical and advertising fields. (Full time June to October 2009 and 2010, otherwise varying assignments).
